About
Howdy!
I am Florentin (or just Flo), a computer science student and the owner and creator of this website!
I absolutely love everything spaceflight related and use a lot of my free time to design MOCs (My Own Creation) of rockets and everything related to space!
Currently I am working part time as a software developer while studying computer science, but in the future I hope to work somewhere in the space business or at a space agency!
Other than spaceflight and rockets, I am also very interested in science, astronomy, politics, programming (as you can see by this website :D) and of course: video games!

My Collection
While I don't have the space nor the money to build all of my MOCs, I have built some of them!
If you also have built any of my MOCs, be sure to let me know and send some pictures! I'm always happy to see people building them :)

FAQ
There are many programs to design MOCs with. The most popular ones are Bricklinks Studio, Mecabricks and Lego Digital Designer.
I personally use Studio as it has a user friendly user interface, many useful features and is the most intuitive one to use, though it still has also has a lot of stuff to improve.
Ordering the parts for my and other peoples MOCs is quite difficult as there is a lot to consider. Basically you need to decide where you want to buy your parts from. To keep track of what you bought where I recommend using the wishlist on Bricklink or custom lists on Rebrickable and work from there. If you have old parts lying around, I'd recommend using those to check of the list first.
In case you only want Lego parts and not any parts of other companies you have four options to buy from, Bricklink, Brickowl, Pick a Brick and your local store. Buying the parts you need locally can be cheap but they often dont have all the parts you'll need. Legos Pick a Brick is very slow, expensive and should only be used if you have some new or very rare part that is hard or much more expensive to buy from the other options. So most of the time I'd just recommend Brickowl and Bricklink.
When using the auto buy feature on Bricklink I recommend giving all your parts a max price of the average of the last 6 months plus around 30%. Then you also need to check the lots of over max price checkbox when buying. For some rarer parts you should not set the max price as this will just make it even harder to find them. Also watch out for the Bricklink shops that sell parts in bulk. I personally just do not use those stores at all as they just break the auto buy feature.
When not just buying Lego bricks but also from other companies is fine with you before buying from Bricklink or Brickowl you can add a step to buy parts from Wobrick, Webrick or similar websites. They often are cheaper than Bricklink/Brickowl but not always. Of course you can also buy from Bluebrixx using their part packs, but those are rarely worth it. Rather if you have one of their local stores nearby you can buy bricks using their brick bar which can be very cheap but they again might not have all the bricks you need.
In short my go to way looks like the following: parts I own → local Bluebrixx store → Wobrick/Webrick → Bricklink → Pick a Brick. This is just a very very short introduction to buying bricks for my and any other peoples MOCs. If you have any further questions or anything, feel free to write me an email :)
If you have any question regarding my existing MOCs or have ideas for future ones, feel free to contact me anytime!
An .io file is a digital file which you can open using Mecabricks or Bricklinks Studio program. It contains the digital model of the MOC. In Studio it can also be used to make instructions out of the MOC.
If have made instructions for my MOCs I will upload them as PDFs together with the digital io file. If one of my MOCs doesn't have PDF instructions yet, but you really would like to have them, just contact me and I will make them!
Many of my MOCs can also just be build by looking at the io file, though PDF instructions of course are more straightforward :D
I mostly render the pictures of my MOCs using the inbuild rendering engine in Studio. If I want to have something more complex I export the model from Studio and use Blender.

The 3D viewer and the partslist export feature use part lists and brick information from LDraw and Rebrickable.
